depression is depressing. no, I’m not being redundant. you are sad, and the simple things you seem to have been able to do before just fine are so difficult now - like waking up, eating, creating things, falling asleep and socializing… and that makes you sad. it makes you even more sad then you were before, because now you’re not only depressed about what you originally became depressed about, but also about how you cant seem to get your shit together. you don’t want to get out of bed, you don’t want to talk to your friends, you don’t want to clean the litter box that you haven’t cleaned in weeks, you don’t want to go to that job interview that you so desperately need. you don’t want to do anything. and this makes you sad. even more sad than you were after you became even more sad about your original reason you became depressed. and thats depressing. thats depression.
